The environment and daily routine

Look at accessibility, bathrooms, shared spaces, cleanliness, meals, and room arrangements. Ask what a typical day looks like and whether language, food preferences, cultural practices, and personal routines can be accommodated.

The people and support

Ask who is available during the day and overnight, what qualifications they hold, how care needs are assessed, and what happens if someone becomes unwell. Verify claims and ask what the center cannot support.

Family involvement

Discuss visits, communication, consent, privacy, and how concerns or complaints are handled. Find out whether your loved one can try a visit before agreeing to a longer arrangement.

Fees and the agreement

Request itemized fees in INR, including deposits, extra support, transport, and any medical costs. Read notice periods, refund terms, and the agreement carefully before paying.

General guidance only. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions and verify provider arrangements directly.
